1. About this site
nbsportcards.com is operated by NBSportCards, a sports card seller located in Tampa, Florida. Using this site means accepting these terms.
2. Listings, pricing and availability
Cards shown here are individual items. Once a card sells, it is gone. Listings are updated by hand, so a card may sell on eBay, on a live sale, or in person before the site reflects it. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. A listing is an invitation to make an offer, not a binding offer to sell; a sale is formed only when payment is accepted.
3. Descriptions and photographs
Photographs show the actual card offered, not a stock image. Condition is described in good faith. Grades and certification numbers shown for graded cards are those assigned by the grading company; NBSportCards does not grade cards and does not warrant a grading company's opinion. Raw cards are sold ungraded, and no representation is made about how a card would grade if submitted.
4. Purchases
Purchases made through the eBay store are governed by eBay's user agreement, payment handling, and money-back guarantee. Purchases made through a live sale on another platform are governed by that platform's own terms. For direct sales arranged by email, payment terms, shipping, and any return window are agreed in writing between the parties before payment.
5. Shipping and risk
Cards ship with tracking, and higher-value cards ship with signature confirmation. Title and risk of loss pass on delivery to the carrier unless otherwise agreed in writing. Carrier delays are outside NBSportCards' control.
6. Consignment
NBSportCards offers a consignment service under which a consignor delivers cards to NBSportCards, and NBSportCards photographs, markets, lists, and attempts to sell those cards on the consignor's behalf in exchange for an agreed consignment fee. Information on this website about consignment, including the consignment page and the consignment terms summary, is general information only. It is not an offer, does not create a consignment, and does not obligate either party.
A consignment arises only upon execution of the separate NBSportCards Consignment Agreement. NBSportCards may decline any submission, and may return any card, at its discretion.
If there is any conflict between these Terms of Service and an executed NBSportCards Consignment Agreement, the executed Consignment Agreement controls with respect to the consigned property and the consignment transaction. These Terms continue to govern general use of this website.
7. Intellectual property
Player names, team names, and manufacturer marks appearing on cards belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the specific item offered for sale. NBSportCards is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, team, player, manufacturer, grading company, or marketplace. Site text, photographs, and the NBSportCards logo are the property of NBSportCards.
8. No investment advice
Nothing on this site is a prediction or guarantee of future value, of whether a card will sell, or of the price or timeframe in which it might sell. Collectible prices move, and they move both ways.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, NBSportCards is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this site or from a transaction, including claims based on alleged future appreciation or lost investment value. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Privacy
Information submitted through this site is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Any proceeding arising from them shall be brought in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in Hillsborough County, Florida.
